- Ensure all work is performed according to approved procedures, standards, and specifications for all operations

- Lead staff in their routine operations and be present on-site to address questions and issues as they arise
- Assist operations as necessary with ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Maintain a sound and efficient financial reporting process including journal entries, intercompany cost allocations, consolidations, etc.
- Ensure staff is trained and operationally effective. Promotes staff development with the ability to motivate and promote cross-functional collaboration
- Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive performance of direct reports and lead a team
- Understand P&L statements and analyze areas for production improvement.
- Retail Pool/Transportation experience preferred
- Demonstrated operational management experience of minimum 15 person unit or larger required
- Knowledge of proper freight handling techniques
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA & safe package handling protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations
- Ability to provide structure and planning to meet the terminal and regional goals
- Must be flexible to work weekends and nights

- BS/BA preferred, with a progressive career focus in facility/operations management.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
