The Dresden Chamber of Crafts is a public law corporation that represents and advocates for around craft businesses with approximately employees in the Dresden district, which includes the districts of Görlitz, Bautzen, Meißen, Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains, and the state capital Dresden. In addition to representing the interests of its members and fulfilling official duties, the Chamber also promotes the craft industry in a broader sense.

In light of the ongoing demographic change, issues related to securing skilled workers and personnel management are becoming increasingly important strategic tasks for every craft business. Craft businesses are labor-intensive, and qualified and motivated employees are therefore crucial for future success.

Small craft businesses are increasingly recognizing the challenges of this topic and are aware of the importance of professional personnel management. However, they often lack knowledge about the appropriate tools and methods. Therefore, the Dresden Chamber of Crafts supports its member companies with all questions related to personnel management.
