The successful applicant will become part of a world class team and work collaboratively with an outstanding group of geographically dispersed employees to support the development and production of advanced electronic systems for the DoD and other customers.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist as the primary interface with government agencies regarding assigned program security matters and requirements for SCI and SAP programs
  • Complete the PAR process, SCI Nomination packages, prepare for inspections, conduct internal audits, process visit requests, conduct security briefings, refreshers, and debriefings
  • Maintain access rosters, classified mail, and IDS/access management systems
  • Perform program security administrative tasks and duties i.e., filing, updating logs/lists, supplies, coordination with internal and external customers
  • Interpret and implement security classification guidance via the DD254's provided
  • Assist with updating the Security Standard Practices and Procedures Manual, SPP, and updating/maintaining the SCI and SAP Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Action Plans
  • Investigate and document security violations/incidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions to program personnel/management
  • Responsible for daily security operations and NISP/NISPOM compliance, 32 CFR, Part 117 for the facility
  • Prepare and participate in yearly DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments
  • Maintain personnel security records for SAP/SAR/SCIrelated programs to include the use of SIMS and DISS
  • Submit employees for clearances and periodic reinvestigations through DISS as required
  • Perform initial access eligibility determinations and create PARs and SCI nomination packages
  • Conduct internal selfinspections and assist with Staff Assistance Visits and Customer Security Assessments
  • Train and orient employees in security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and customer regulations
  • Conduct secure equipment (e.g., secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections, and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions
  • Maintain classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records, and final disposition documentation
  • Working knowledge in the preparation and maintenance of prime and subcontract DD254s
  • Ensure all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes

Basic Requirements

  • US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
  • Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain additional Security Clearance accesses associated with customers
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years' facility security experience
  • Must possess practical knowledge and experience with DSS Portal NCAISS, DISS, eQIP, SIMS, SWFT or (equivalent system)
  • Must possess an indepth knowledge of the NISPOM and 32 CFR, Part 11
  • Must possess NISPOM required Certifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Alternate COMSEC Custodian Certification
  • More than 5 years' facility security experience
  • Completed CPSO and SAP related training through CDSE STEPP
  • Ability to analyze and report on complex security issues to a high level
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
