Do you have an understanding of technical concepts and possess manual skills? The apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic in the field of maintenance (m/f/d) offers you insights into the areas of electrical engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics, and computer science, and provides you with a practical entry into the professional world.
One of your tasks during the apprenticeship is, for example, maintaining, repairing, and optimizing machines and systems.You ensure the functionality of machines and improve them, as well as the associated maintenance and repair of pumps, stirrers, gears, and motors.
What you bring:
- A good secondary or high school diploma
- Interest in technology and manual skills
What to expect:
- An apprenticeship duration of 3 1/2 years
- Possible shortening of the apprenticeship with excellent performance
- A variety of training locations (various departments of partner companies in Hessen as well as training facilities of Provadis)
- A final examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
Your tasks:
- Maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and optimizing machines and systems
- Applying company quality assurance systems and systematically identifying, eliminating, and documenting quality defects
- Manufacturing new plant parts, pipelines, and fasteners
- Using modern technologies: electrical engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics, computer science
