Description

Responsibilities:
Maintains systems and equipment, restores, repairs, rebuilds or replaces faulty or inoperative components and parts; supervising staff.

Duties:
Maintenance scheduling, coaching, planning, communicating job expectations, enforcing policies and procedures. Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity and resolving problems. Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements. Implement corrective actions.

Maintains function and reliability of facility systems, operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:
Supervision, staffing, strategic planning, troubleshooting, job knowledge, computer skills and ability to learn SAP computer system.

Required Skills:

Work 40+ hours per week in all areas of kill floor
Be able to communicate verbally and in written form in English
Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in the building mechanical trades
Previous mechanical and related experience required
Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
