- Plan, schedule and conducts detailed discipline engineering work with other disciplines. Assume in-charge responsibility and technical compliance with all codes, laws and regulations associated with a Professional Engineers role.
- Establishes schedules, budgets and scope documents to meet project requirements compatible with Customers and Companys objectives.
- Coordinates the disciplines engineering with that of the other disciplines.
- Directs and assigns the preparation of all discipline design drawings and specifications required for a project to those discipline personnel assigned to the project.
- Prepares and submits periodic reports and forecasts specific to project requirements. Fully understands work sequence, general content, and methods used to generate all required project discipline documents.
- Conforms to core values and assists others to adhere to them. Ensures quality and completeness of engineering functions.
- Though grasp of applicable codes and regulatory requirements.
- Understands and scope change control process and can identify scope changes easily.
- Familiarity with design engineering and drawing production programs and software.
- Supervision and guidance related largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts and policy matters for the Chief Discipline Engineer.
- Supervise, coordinate and review the work of structural engineers and designers.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with respect to project scope, budget and scheduling when performing as a Project Lead Discipline Engineer. Additionally, this employee may provide a liaison between Discipline Engineers, Project Managers and the Chief Discipline Engineer regarding the course of specific projects with respect to the discipline.

Engineer Intern - Education = Junior or Senior in University/College
Engineer IV - Education = Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Engineer III - Education = Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Experience = 2 years

Engineer I - Education = Bachelor's Degree; Experience = 6 years
Sr. Engineer IV - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 10 years; Licensure = PE
Sr. Engineer III - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 12 years; Licensure = PE
Sr. Engineer II - Education = Bachelor's/Continuing Education; Experience = 14 years; Licensure = PE
