    The S|CPA Network is a growing regional firm with professional accounting offices in Ohio and Texas.

    This full-time position conducts projects at the firm's Austin, Texas practice S|CPA Group, LLC.

    For over 25 years, S|CPA Group a full-service public accounting firm, has provided tax, audit, assurance, accounting and business advisory services to privately held businesses and high net worth individuals throughout central Texas.

    As we develop continued growth, we currently seek a dedicated Senior Audit Associate with 2+ years of recent public accounting audit experience. As our Senior Audit Associate, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

    SCPA Group Responsibilities and Professional skills for this role include but are not limited to:

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and oversee the auditing or review process (primarily taking the in-charge role).
    • Supervise and train audit staff.
    • Delegate to others to provide opportunities, coaching them to deliver results.
    • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
    • Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance.
    • Complete audits and submit reports timely.
    • Present audit findings and develop ways to increase compliance and efficiency.
    • Use straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing and connecting with others.
    • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.


    Professional Skills/Qualifications:

    · Minimum of 2 years' experience in public accounting.

    · BSc / BA in Accounting

    · CPA preferred or at least receiving a passing score on one or more exams.

    · In-dept understanding of auditing and control practices.

    · Technical knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States.

    · Experience in the construction or governmental entity industries a plus.

    · Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

    · Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.

    · Dedication to superior client service.

    · Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader and team member in a professional accounting firm.

    · Excellent interpersonal skills, professional attitude, and consistently interacting with clients with integrity and reliability.

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Location: One Location, On-site

    Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

    Company Description

    We are a network of public accounting firms primarily serving Texas School Districts, Not-for-profit groups, Construction Contractors, and homeowners/condominium associations throughout the state of Texas. Our Austin office is in Bee Caves, and has 9 people sitting in the office, along with 8 remote employees.
