    Financial Reporting Manager - Houston, Tx

    Our esteemed client, a leading manufacturing company, seeks to hire a Financial Reporting Manager for operations in Houston, Texas.

    The appointed individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the quarterly SEC Form 10-Q, annual SEC Form 10-K filings, and annual Proxy filing.

    Additionally, this position entails spearheading technical accounting tasks, including conducting accounting research, independently reaching conclusions on intricate accounting matters, and crafting meticulous technical accounting memos.


    Key responsibilities encompass gathering pertinent information and supporting documentation from various departments to facilitate precise and punctual 10-K and 10-Q reporting.

    Additionally, duties involve reconciling RSU/stock compensation accounts for scrutiny and endorsement, assuming responsibility for stock-based compensation accounting from the GL group, calculating EPS (basic and diluted), managing overall shares outstanding and available (RSU share pool), fostering collaboration between External Reporting and the GL group within the finance domain, ensuring timely cooperation with internal and external auditors, taking the lead on technical accounting matters, preparing SEC filings, and playing a substantial role in devising and executing SOX controls over ICFR.


    Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, CPA certification, prior experience in Public Accounting, and a minimum of 5 years of pertinent technical accounting experience under U.S.

    GAAP. Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC accounting and reporting requirements.

    Furthermore, strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively communicate technical accounting and SEC reporting requirements across all organizational levels.
