FUNCTION:
Work with the Chief Business Officer, Business Manager, College and research administrators, and Research Faculty to coordinate research support operations and activities within the College of Pharmacy (COP.) Provide critical analysis of financial research data for use by the Dean, Director and the Research Committees.

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES
AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Chief Business Officer, Business Manager, and Principal Investigators to provide support related services for the execution of grant funding research endeavors, including grant submissions, tasks related to executing funded awards (i.e. processing subawards), the monitoring of awarded funds, and providing assistance with award reporting.
- Liaise between department staff, affiliated research faculty, university centers, and Sponsored Projects supporting them in a variety of activities related to the implementation of their project both pre
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and collegerelated research data analyses as assigned.
- In conjunction with principal investigators, provide coordination of financial matters pertaining to administration of COP research budgets and reconciling them with their approved goals and objectives.
- Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for financial reporting and analysis where necessary.
- Assist in preparation of online reports per funding agency(s) requirements and guidelines.
- Assist principal investigators in monitoring assigned accounts and maintaining accurate financial records utilizing the PeopleSoft system.
- Assist in the organization of research and grantrelated workshops and other special events where appropriate.
- Assist in the management and assembly of grant and contract submissions.
- Compile information on researchrelated programs and activities, and draft for Website publication.
- Analyze statistical trends in research activities.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of subordinates, including students, as needed.

Required Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2. Minimum of three years of academic, finance, research, business, or public/scientific administration experience in a complex setting.
- 3. Demonstrated experience with grant or research administration.
- 4. Demonstrated experience in reporting to funding agencies.
- 5. Demonstrated experience with analyzing large data sets.
- 6. Demonstrated experience managing multiple, large, grants or budgets.
- 7. Demonstrated experience managing large, financial resources and budgets.
- 8. Demonstrated computer experience (including research and enterprise software).
- 9. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- 10. Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- 11. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- 12. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
- 13. Demonstrated organizational skills.
- 14. Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities.
- 15. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
- 16. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated manager or coordinator experience in a complex, clinical and/or academic research setting.
