In this role, we are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of formal investigation processes and performance management risk-mitigation strategies.
We are looking to build efficient, impactful ER practices and processes that support the company's values and expansive growth.*In-office attendance will be required 3 days per week*This is NOT an employee engagement or recruiting roleIN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Partner closely with the HR Business Partners on all employee matters (performance management, employee relations issues, investigations, etc.)Coach and advise managers through employee issues while upholding company policies and values; execution of policies while keeping the "human" aspect in mindProactively and effectively address complex issues, including mitigating risk and managing situations that result in the best possible outcomes for the company, teams, and employeesManage employee investigations and make recommendations to management concerning resolution of grievancesOwn and drive employee relations processes, such as offboarding and refining policies to align and support Snowflake business needs and to drive alignment with Federal, State, and local lawsDrive cross functional relationships within HR, payroll, legal and the businessProvide project management coordination and guidance to other HR teams and Centers of Excellence on ER processesWHAT WE'
RE LOOKING FOR:
5+ years of progressive responsible and directly related work experienceWorkplace investigator certification is a plusSelf-directed initiators with a growth mentality - People who take ownership of their work and need no prompting to drive productivity, change, and outcomesSomeone who understands the big picture view of employee matters, to understand where we can consolidate our processes while staying in compliance Subject matter expert in employee matters with expert ability advise our people leaders on a wide range of employee relations issues, and performance issuesFlexibility in resolution of issues – tailoring the solutions provided to both mitigate legal risk and align with Snowflake processes, values and business needsDemonstrates objectivity, sensitivity and a balanced perspective regarding employee concerns and organizational needsMaintain high level of professionalism under pressure and demonstrates responsible decision making in stressful or unexpected situationsAbility to understand and leverage technology to drive process changes.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $189,000.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
