Description

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in our small and friendly clinic. No experience necessary. Cantonese and/or Mandarin speaking a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Patient registration, checkingin and checkingout patients
• Placing patient in the examination room and taking vital signs
• Perform administrative tasks in the office
• Be able to answer high volume of phone calls
• Communicate with patients in a friendly manner while properly documenting their conditions
• Obtain and follow through on authorizations for HMO patients
• Check insurance eligibility
• Collect payments by cash, check, or credit card
• Other tasks as needed

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
