    JOB SUMMARY

    Perform clerical duties involving electronic funds transfers (EFT), card services, and automated clearinghouse (ACH) functions in a timely, accurate manner that provides members with quality service. Reconcile accounts in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. This position requires minimal interaction with members.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    · Process daily return of ACH items and share drafts.

    · Verify the accuracy of postings and resolve any differences.

    · Record and balance all unprocessed Share Draft and ACH items.

    · Process all returns, rejections, and stop payments in a timely manner.

    · Process and correct all EFT transactions transmitted daily.

    · Limited processing of payroll and ACH payments

    · Assist in solving member issues or questions on EFT/ACH, debit, credit, prepaid cards, wire transfers, etc.

    · Process incoming and outgoing, foreign and domestic, wire transfers.

    · Verify credit card orders

    · Answer staff/member inquiries.

    · Handle card disputes.

    · Originate loan and mortgage ACH payments for the credit union.

    · Assist with Accounting functions.

    · Other duties as assigned by management.

    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

    · High School Diploma or Equivalent

    · Experience with ACH and/or dispute processing is preferred but not required.

    This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/scanners, filing cabinets, 10-key calculators, and fax machines. The position requires manual dexterity and the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.

    The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
