RMC is seeking a HR Administrator for a full-time remote position.

Position Summary:


Essential Functions:


Employee Records Management:


  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records, including personal information, employment history, and benefits enrollment.
  • For example, updating the system with merit increases and job changes in all applicable systems.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Saving employee records accurately and timely.

Recruitment Support:


  • Manage the applicant tracking system and maintain recruitmentrelated documentation.

Benefits Administration:


  • Assist employees with new hire benefits enrollment.

Onboarding and Offboarding:


  • Own all new employee onboardings, including paperwork and conducting orientation meetings.
  • Facilitating background and drug screenings.
  • Maintaining accurate and consistent hiring practices to include I9, state and federal forms are completed and all other onboarding tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with labor law and employment standards.
  • Completing all offboarding tasks as employees exit the company.
  • Obtaining a copy of resignation letter, terminating employee in HRIS systems, sending offboarding information, etc.

HR Policy and Procedure Compliance:


  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR activities, such as employee onboarding and separation, business cards, new processes in systems, etc., and maintain them as procedures may change.
  • Assist in the pulling and submitting of routine and nonroutine reports, such as EEO1, Affirmative Action, mandatory trainings, benefit optout reports, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Employee Relations:


  • Handle routine employee inquiries and provide support in addressing concerns.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Be a main point of contact in directing employee inquiries.

Training and Development:


  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
  • Coordinate slide deck for monthly manager's meetings.
  • Track and report on employee training and development initiatives.
  • Coordinate gathering of information and PDF generation for the quarterly RMC Newsletter.

General Administrative Support:


  • Assist HR team with various administrative tasks and projects.
  • Complete VOE as requested. Order company swag, bereavement gifts, company business cards, etc.

Competencies:


Organizational Skills:


  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining employee records and HR documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Communication Skills:


  • Effective written and verbal communication for clear and concise interaction with employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Active listening skills to understand and address employee inquiries and concerns.

Adaptability:


  • Operating effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.

Education & Experience Requirements**- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven 23 years' experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar HR admin support role. Experience utilizing HRIS systems like ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems.

  • Travel Flexibility:Willingness and capability to travel, _CONUS_ approximately 5% of the time.
  • Telecommunication is authorized for this role.
