    Description
    NaphCare is hiring an experienced *IT Systems Engineer* to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters *on-site* in Birmingham, AL

    The IT Systems Engineer will work within a team devoted to IT infrastructure and will have the opportunity for advancement within the growing department.


    • 5+ years of systems engineering experience is required; Experience in supporting cloud environments.
    • Experience with configuring DNS and DHCP, VMware vSphere, current server operating systems.
    • Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
    • Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members.
    *Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to meet project requirements.

    • Provide top tier support related to the design, management, and maintenance of systems for our nationwide network of sites and users.
    • Implementation and troubleshooting of systems, both physical and virtual
    • Management and troubleshooting of AWS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange.
    *VMware configuration and support

    • Microsoft server
    • Active Directory configuration
    • Windows OS hardening
    • Cisco switch configuration
    • Aruba Wireless configuration
    • Microsoft RDS
