    Description

    As a Test Engineer, you will assist with the day-to-day aspects of a fitting testing department by assisting the department leader in managing the department and completing various projects for the testing of plumbing products such as faucets, showerheads, shower systems, valves, waste fittings (drains), and flexible connectors to the plumbing standards and regulations.

    The testing will include life cycle tests, functionality, flow rate, pressure, loading, material, etc. You will also create test data, ensure all work is conducted in accordance with approved standards, build, calibrate, and set up testing equipment, evaluate and test products, conduct engineering calculations, analyze, and document quality results, use appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the parts being tested, plus other duties as assigned.

    A quality contender for this role will have a general understanding of all tests conducted in R&T Lab, the ability to stay up to date with relevant scientific developments improving efficiency in lab operations, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent multitasking abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications -

    Bachelors or Associates degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.

    Minimum 1 year of experience in the testing industry prefer plumbing.

    Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards preferred.
