1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

1.1 Reports to the Production Control Manager


2 PURPOSE AND DUTIES
2.1 Function

2.1.1 To provide specific support to the Production Control Manager, Materials, Customer Service, and Manufacturing.

2.2 Authority

2.2.1 Associate has the authority to perform cycle counts and inventory control transactions.

2.2.2 Associate has the authority to perform duties with matters regarding customers.

2.2.3 Associate has the authority to perform duties with matters regarding manufacturing.


3 RESPONSIBILITIES


3.1 Work closely with production departments on production control issues which will allow them to more efficiently meet their needs.

3.2 Cycle count activities including; cycle count calendar, inventory adjustments with planner approval, and corrective actions as required.

3.3 Escalate any large variance or problems to supervisor.

3.4 Customer Service support, including customer communication, order entry, customer portal activities and EDI as required.

3.5 Communicate and coordinate expediting material with customer.

3.6 Production Scheduling activities.

3.7 Planned and MRO receiving.

3.8 Misc. office duties.

3.9 Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.


4 MEASUREMENTS
4.1 Ability to work with others.

4.2 Internal/external customer satisfaction.

4.3 Oral and written communication skills.

4.4 Timely preparation of reports and production schedules.

4.5 Teamwork in supporting other departments/office personnel.

4.6 Strong Computer Skills required.


Requirements:


5 QUALIFICATIONS
5.1 Previous computer experience, preferably PC and mainframe.

5.2 Must have three years experience in a production control environment.

5.3 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

5.4 Excellent math aptitude.

5.5 Detail oriented.


6 PHYSICAL DEMANDS


6.1 The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


6.2 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, file or lift office supplies up to 30 pounds.

While performing the responsibilities of the employee's job, the employee is required to talk and hear.

The employee is often required to stand, sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, talk and hear, to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.


7 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:
30am to 4:
30pm. This position may require extended hours and possible weekend work.


8 TRAVEL
Local travel to various worksites may be required.
