We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and Qualifications:
The Director Strategic Analytics will be responsible for providing strategic reporting and information to division and hospital leadership by analyzing operational volumes, expense & service utilization, and the organization's competitive position in the marketplace.
- The Director Strategic Analytics will be responsible for the development and evolution of the overall decision support strategy for the Capital Division.
- This position will be tasked with developing new strategies, encouraging the use of best demonstrated practices and aligning reporting capabilities to support strategic initiatives of multiple customers.
- The position will require the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.
- The role will be responsible for recommending changes in development, maintenance and system standards, where needed, to accomplish a consistent implementation of decision support tools across the Division.
- The position will oversee and engage in the analysis of healthcare business problems and identification of business opportunities for customers using multiple tools and business processes.
- In collaboration with the division leadership team and hospital administrators, the Director Strategic Analytics will act as a strategic informational resource for hospitals by providing ongoing reporting and analysis.
- Reporting and analysis will come from a variety of different data sources, both internal to the company (patient encounter, financial) and external (hospital associations).
- Director will also be responsible for providing hospitals with information about their competitive position in their respective communities compared to other service providers.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree accounting, finance, or hospital administration (required)
- Master's degree accounting, finance, or hospital administration (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare leadership in Decision Support Services and Business Intelligence experience in a multistate healthcare environment (preferred)
