Faculty - Crossnore's Center for Trauma Resilient Communities (CTRC)

Location:
Winston-Salem, NC, with the ability to work onsite. Remote work occasionally considered.

Hiring Range:
$62,000 - $70,000 annually

Job Summary:
This position offers crucial support to organizations and communities aiming to integrate trauma resilience principles.

Based out of our Winston-Salem, NC, region, this role delivers education, training, and skill enhancement to stakeholders involved in CTRC initiatives.

Additionally, the specialist provides ongoing consultancy services to aid agencies in fostering and maintaining a trauma-resilient environment. Responsibilities encompass designing, overseeing, and delivering training and consultation programs to partner agencies, utilizing the Trauma Resilient Communities framework. Essential duties include guiding organizations through successful TRC phases implementation.

Occasional travel within the designated area is expected.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or related field required. A Master's degree with a professional license in one of these fields is strongly preferred.
5+ years of full-time experience in developing and delivering in-classroom, webinars, eLearning, and blended training to adults in one of the above fields.
Prior experience working with trauma-informed practice implementation required; across multiple sites is strongly desired.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Instructional Design: Proficiency in designing and developing training materials and curriculum using various modalities, including in-classroom, eLearning, webinars, and blended learning approaches.
Stakeholder Engagement: Capability to work collaboratively with partner agencies to understand their needs and translate core concepts into relatable training sessions.
Content Development: Skill in providing input into content delivery strategies and developing future learning opportunities aligned with learner needs and organizational objectives.
Adult Learning Principles: Understanding of adult learning theories and communication techniques to facilitate courses effectively and meet high-quality standards.
Project Management: Ability to support communities of practice for projects, define learning objectives, and provide facilitation and follow-up support.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Capacity to collaborate with teammates for the effective delivery of material and actively participate in meetings and workgroup sessions to advance projects.
Subject Matter Expertise: Stay updated on relevant topics in trauma, resilience, DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging), well-being, and implementation science.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, provide social media content, and maintain accurate documentation.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to modify instructional plans and approaches in response to feedback and support training projects by other faculty members as needed.
Tech Savviness: Comfort with technology and proficiency in utilizing eLearning platforms, social media, and other digital tools to enhance training delivery and online presence.
Organizational Skills: Capability to effectively manage time, prepare for sessions in advance, and keep necessary documentation up-to-date and accurate.
Evaluation and Assessment: Proficiency in implementing evaluation tools to gauge the effectiveness of learning programs and knowledge transfer.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrate passion for the mission, creativity, vision, adaptability, attention to detail, and collaboration to guide organizations through successful TRC phases implementation.
