Description

A client at Eglin AFB is needing a Data Scientist to join their team.

In this role, you will explore and evaluate state-of-the-art data collection mechanisms for various domains, including modeling and simulation, terminal seeker sciences, aerodynamics, guidance, navigation, and control.

Your responsibilities will include architecting strategies that automate data ingestion and indexing, developing machine learning models, creating insightful visualization dashboards, and conducting data state surveys.

Experience supporting the air force or AFRL in a data science or analysis role

MATLAB
Machine learning or AI experience

Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch

Any data certifications

Apache Spark or Apache Kafka (data processing tools)
7+ years of related data science or data analysis experience

Data visualization experience

Experience developing with Python or R to process data

Experience managing and analyzing large sets of data in a SQL environment

Experience with data processing tools and ETL pipelines

US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance

Bachelor's degree in STEM & 9 years of experience OR M. S. degree in STEM & 7 years of experience
