- Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp mission needs and provide AI-powered solutions that enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness.
- Engage with data scientists, engineers, and military staff to integrate AI technologies into existing Air Force systems and platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest AI and machine learning innovations to ensure the Air Force maintains a technological advantage.
- Thoroughly test and validate AI models to ensure accuracy and consistency in various demanding environments.
- Document and present the process of model development, solutions, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences, including Air Force leadership and operational teams.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and security protocols during AI solution development and deployment.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance or capability to obtain one.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in AI and machine learning, with expertise in neural networks, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, R, or similar, and familiar with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adeptness at working on complex projects with diverse teams under strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to translate intricate technical information into clear, actionable advice for various audiences.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a related field.
- Experience in defense or aerospace industries, particularly in projects related to military operations or national security.
- Familiarity with cloud computing services, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their respective AI/ML services.
