  • Upon completion of each year of employment, CHC will give $100 per year with a maximum of $1,000
  • Accrued Vacation, Personal and Sick all in first year.
  • Open and process payroll biweekly.
  • Print all timesheets and Director of Nursing approval for all timesheets with special pay structure—precepting, flex time, double time.
  • Enters benefit time for any unpaid leave that might have been used during the pay period.
  • Checks to see that employees with unpaid leave hours during payroll processing Monday are paid correctly.
  • During payroll processing, checks to make sure all unscheduled absences are accounted for and any benefit time is added to their timesheets. This is also tracked in the Attendance book.
  • Reviews and corrects all error messages in Inspire prior to submitting payroll.
  • Runs Holiday Bonus checks in Inspire.
  • Works with Accounting and in Inspire to cut any needed checks for missed hours/pay for employees.
  • Assists Director of Human Resources with tracking of unscheduled absences and notifying supervisors when written warnings are needed for employees.
  • Monitors benefit days approved by Supervisors in Inspire. This is done on a weekly basis.
  • Compiles a list of all eligible employees with perfect attendance from the previous year. Assists Director of Human Resources with announcements to staff who will be receiving an additional Personal Day.
  • Adds extra personal day in Inspire on January 1st for all employees with perfect attendance from the previous year.
  • Audits employee vacation accruals in Inspire and stops accruals while employee is on leave.
  • Regularly audits vacation, personal, and sick time accruals to verify accuracy.
  • Maintains clear documentation of each employee's accrual rate change when there is a change of status.
  • Assists Director of Human Resources with administering employee benefits, i.e., Worker's Compensation, group health insurance, Healthy Lifestyle, Flex Spending, and Vision reimbursement requests.
  • Provides assistance to Director of Human Resources during the benefit open enrollment period.
  • Performs monthly licensure verification for all CNAs and prints current license for personnel file.
  • Performs yearly driver's license checks and requesting of current auto insurance for all CHC drivers.
  • Performs criminal history checks for the Bereavement Department Volunteers.
  • Assists with new employee packets and orientation.
  • Runs check requests for We Believe and Employee Giving each pay period.
  • Sends form letters to employment applicants as directed.
  • Committed to Agency resolution against fraud and abuse.
  • Knowledgeable in hospice philosophy and state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Arrives to work and meetings on time and ready to work.
  • Respects confidentiality of patients/families and other Agency employees.
  • Attends educational meetings/conferences for professional growth as required.
  • Sees change as an opportunity and maintains a level of flexibility, which allows for adaptation to new ways of performing.
  • Follows directions and policies that allow for an organizational commitment to working under time pressures without sacrificing quality.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.
