_Landcrafters_, a leading landscaping company on the Florida Gulf Coast, is seeking an experienced Fine Gardener/Horticulturalist to join our Horticulture Division. With a reputation for delivering stunning landscapes to high-end residential clients, we are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of Florida-friendly greenery. This role involves working under the Horticultural Manager, directing a knowledgeable crew, and actively participating in hands-on tasks. Qualifications:


  • Two
- or four-year horticultural related degree or two years of Fine Gardening experience

  • Additional industry experience/certifications can substitute for nonrelated degree, twoyear degree or no degree
  • Ability to identify and treat insect and disease problems
  • Understanding of proper horticulture methods for planting, pruning, etc.
  • Strong time management and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds at times

Responsibilities:


  • Perform handpruning of specialty shrubs, trees, and vines
  • Deadhead and groom perennials, roses, and annuals
  • Design and install plant material in containers and garden spaces
  • Identify and treat pests and diseases
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Perform watering, mulching, staking, and other general maintenance tasks

Compensation:


  • The salary for this position ranges from
    $ $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, with potential for bonuses. Pay is distributed on a weekly basis.
