Desktop Support Engineer-EUC L1


We are currently seeking a mid-level Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for customers and their networked computers and peripherals in Oakdale, LA.

In this role, you will interface with end users, management, VIPs, and local technical staff.


Key Requirements:

  • Good exposure to ServiceNow, SCCM Knowledge, Migrations, Troubleshooting, PC Building, VPN & MDM, Blue screen error, GP Update and OU in Active directory, Network & printer troubleshooting, MS Office tools, OST & PST.
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be a British/EU citizen
  • 1 year of experience in Desktop Support
  • B2 level of German preferred
  • Must have work authorization in Germany

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately test, identify, repair, resolve, and document end user technical issues related to desktop support, printers, PDAs, and other devices.
  • Provide 1st line IT support services to the business community, meeting agreed service targets.
  • Perform infrastructure administration functions.
  • Provide onsite support during business hours and be available for out of hours oncall support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, perform system administration activities, and backup and restore settings.
  • Take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
  • Categorize and prioritize support requests using a ticketing system.
  • Move equipment for escalated help desk incidents and service requests.
  • Conduct asset inventory activities
