Desktop Support Engineer-EUC L1
We are currently seeking a mid-level Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for customers and their networked computers and peripherals in Oakdale, LA.
Key Requirements:
- Good exposure to ServiceNow, SCCM Knowledge, Migrations, Troubleshooting, PC Building, VPN & MDM, Blue screen error, GP Update and OU in Active directory, Network & printer troubleshooting, MS Office tools, OST & PST.
- Fluent in English
- Must be a British/EU citizen
- 1 year of experience in Desktop Support
- B2 level of German preferred
- Must have work authorization in Germany
Main Responsibilities:
- Accurately test, identify, repair, resolve, and document end user technical issues related to desktop support, printers, PDAs, and other devices.
- Provide 1st line IT support services to the business community, meeting agreed service targets.
- Perform infrastructure administration functions.
- Provide onsite support during business hours and be available for out of hours oncall support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, perform system administration activities, and backup and restore settings.
- Take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
- Categorize and prioritize support requests using a ticketing system.
- Move equipment for escalated help desk incidents and service requests.
- Conduct asset inventory activities
