The summer medical academies are between one and three weeks long and are non-credit academic courses with rigorous curricula.Job Overview
The Assistant Academic Director (AAD) _- in a temporary role_ - is a resource for high school students, mentors, and the Academic Director (AD).
They change gears quickly and troubleshoot problems independently to implement and oversee the day-to-day logistics of their programs; and train and supervise a team of Mentors throughout the summer.

The Assistant Academic Director trains and supervises a cohort of high school students who serve as Mentors throughout the summer.
- Current student, graduating undergraduate, or a graduate student
- Supervisory and/or leadership experience
- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, and Zoom
- Current or graduating Georgetown University student
- Experience working in an educational setting
- Experience working with faculty
- Experience working with high school students
- Institutional knowledge of Georgetown University
