Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team as part of a Summer Youth Training and Development program.

The program calls for individuals age 16-24 and will span most of the Summer.

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.

Your role will involve patrolling the premises and responding to any security incidents or emergencies.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals onsite
Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises
Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance, including investigating disturbances and detaining individuals if necessary
Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and providing directions or information as needed
Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all securityrelated activities
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents

Experience:

Previous experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or a related field is helpful
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Strong observation skills and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and composed in highpressure situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in conflict management techniques
