Kern Regional Center is one of 21 private, non-profit regional centers contracted by the State of California through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate community-based services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Kern Regional Center services over 10,000 individuals in Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties. Our counties cover approximately 22,000 square miles with a population of over 945,000 people.

Kern Regional Center is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Generalist.

This individual is responsible for assisting the Human Resources function within the company including employee administration, management of personnel records, compliance with laws and regulations, talent acquisition, new hire administration, benefit administration, employee health and safety and other duties as assigned to support human resources.


Requirements:


  • Associates degree in a related field from an accredited college.
  • One year of human resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Communicate effectively and decisively with all levels of the organization and able to solve practical problems
  • Operate with a high degree of independence and as a team player
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Positive, professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and responsibility
  • Be flexible and adaptive to a facedpaced environment

Starting Hourly Rate
- $23.81-$25.00

Hourly Rate-$23.81-$33.50
