    Opportunity:

    RN - ICU Neuro

    Job Details:


    • Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts per week

    • Flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts preferred

    • One hardship shift may be required depending on assignment timeframe

    • Every other weekend coverage required

    • Holiday coverage as needed

    • May be asked to float to other ICUs if needed

    • Minimum 2 years Neuroscience ICU experience required

    • Must have strong experience in EVD, ICP, angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid, and embolization procedures

    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

    • EPIC experience required

    • Maximum 7 days requested time off

    • 8-hour orientation provided

    • Care for critically ill stroke patients, neurosurgery and neurology patients 18 years and older

    • Provide post-operative care including ICP monitoring, mechanical thrombectomy, AVM repair, aneurysm repair, carotid stenting procedures

    • Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and CRRT

    • Work in tobacco and fragrance-free facility

    • Manager interview required after clinical screening

    This healthcare organization operates a 10-bed Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit that specializes in caring for critically ill stroke patients and neurosurgery patients. The facility provides comprehensive neurocritical care including advanced procedures like mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm repair, and carotid stenting. The unit features state-of-the-art equipment and serves as an overflow unit for medical patients, maintaining high standards for specialized neurological care with interdisciplinary support services.
