Job Description

The Neuro ICU RN will provide care for critically ill stroke patients and those undergoing neurosurgical procedures. Responsibilities will include managing complex medical needs and monitoring patients post-surgery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions and post-neurosurgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in patient assessments and plan-of-care development.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Experience with EVD, ICP monitoring, and CRRT preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is highly preferred.
