    (IAS), a subsidiary of HEICO Aerospace, is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer at our facility in Highland Heights, Ohio.

    This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager.


    ROLE:

    The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design and development of a broad range of avionics test equipment for Inertial Aerospace Services.

    Maintain integration of technical requirements and communicate project status across functional organization lines. The position includes support of current test equipment.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Review available product documentation, analysis of design features, product design, and formulate test equipment requirements necessary to comprehensively verify product operation Develop test equipment concepts that can be effectively implemented Perform detail analog and digital design from conception through production that implement requirements Perform schematic entry, supervision of PCB layout, and component selection Integrate test equipment hardware and software with the product supported by software engineering Troubleshoot problems/issues associated with test sets/products and provides analytical basis for problem resolution or replacementProvide both test equipment and product support to production Develops and presents technical briefings to managementMust work well with others and be flexible in handling multiple tasks


    EDUCATION:
    Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field


    EXPERIENCE:
    3-5 years' experience in Analog and digital detail circuit design Uses analytical equipment to troubleshoot and analyze system and component problems (signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, etc.)Test Equipment design and development Circuit debuggingSoldering and basic hand toolsPREFERED


    EXPERIENCE:

    Strong analytic ability in verification testing and problem solvingExperience with schematic design tools and softwareExposure to C, C++, C#, and VB.


    NetKnowledge of embedded software systemsEMPLOYMENT CONSTRAINTS:
