Job Summary


The pharmacy technician is responsible for leading and performing work and development in the areas of intake, sterile compounding, patient and clinic outreach, inventory management, shipping, billing, and other areas key to the success of a home infusion program.

Makes recommendations to pharmacist based on protocols and data gathered. Performs tasks across a variety of functional areas and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
For full consideration applicants are encouraged to upload license and certification if required of the position.

  • California Licensed Board of Pharmacy Technician and Knowledge of current California Pharmacy Law
  • Recent knowledge of Pharmacy Dispensing Software and Third-Party Billing
  • Knowledge and capability of sterile compounding including aseptic technique and proper handling
  • Provide exceptional service to patients
  • Proactive outreach to patients, providers, payors, and other external partners as needed
Works to support and uplift fellow employees

  • Promotes a collegial working environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
  • Prior experience in sterile compounding
  • Prior experience in Home Infusion
  • Prior experience working in a Specialty Pharmacy
  • Prior Authorization and/or Patient Assistance Program experience
  • Epic EMR, CPR+, or other clinical software experience
  • Experience ensuring compliance of home infusion accrediting bodies (i.e., HIT, ACHC, URAC, TJC, ACHC, etc.)
