Bakery Machine Operator

The Bakery Machine Operator is responsible for operating bakery-pastry machinery and downstream equipment to ensure a smooth production process. They will oversee the flow of product from ingredient mixing to packaging, making necessary adjustments to control panels. Collaboration with team members, maintenance, and supervisors is essential to maintain a safe work environment and comply with Crown Bakeries GMPs.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate assigned machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Equipment handled includes Oven systems, Mixer & blender equipment, Frosting Coating machine, Bagging Machines, and pan washing machines.
  • Monitor and adjust freezer retard temperature and conveyor systems.
  • Utilize PLC panels for product flow control.
  • Troubleshoot processes and document various metrics.
  • Work with Product Laminator and Mixer for seamless product flow.
  • Ensure product standards and customer requirements are met.

Food Safety Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to GMPs, Food Defense, and quality policies.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety standards and report incidents promptly.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Flexible schedule and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, process understanding, and ability to make quality decisions.
  • Team player with the capacity to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reach above shoulder height and perform various physical tasks.

Work Environment:

  • Noisy and enclosed indoor work setting with wet, humid, cold, or hot conditions.
