Position Overview:


As an E-commerce Sales Associate you will be an integral part of our dynamic sales team, managing all aspects of website sales orders, ensuring seamless order processing, and maintaining excellent customer relations.

This is an entry level opportunity that will help you build the skills and knowledge base required for a long-term career in e-commerce, sales, or in the waterproofing industry.

In this position you will develop exceptional e-commerce management and sales skills, hone your analytical skills, and gain a a strong understanding of waterproofing industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively engage with existing customers to maintain and enhance customer relationships and identify opportunities for upselling or crossselling.
  • Communicate with customers to gain information about job scope and product needs in order to develop material estimates and orders encompassing complete waterproofing systems including all necessary products, tools, and accessories in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Identify dormant accounts and develop strategies to reactivate them, maximizing sales potential.
  • Confirm, process, and track customer orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of delivery.
  • Resolve customer issues or complaints promptly, providing solutions within company policies, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Work with the purchasing and planning department and other branch locations to coordinate material transfers and purchases in order to maintain product supply and meet demand.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in ecommerce, customer service, or inside sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry is a bonus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, waterproofing techniques, and related technical knowledge (or a genuine interest and willingness to learn).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computers (experience with NetSuite is a bonus, but not required).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
