    Job Title: Nurse Practitioner at Neuro Medical ICU

    Role Overview:

    Join our vibrant team as a Nurse Practitioner, focusing on providing top-tier patient care for individuals undergoing neurosurgical procedures and those with medical neurology conditions.

    • Unit: Neuro medical ICU
    • Duration: 13 weeks (Potential extension)
    • Shift: 13-hour Day/Night rotation
    • Guaranteed Hours: 39/week
    • Pay Rate: $131 per hour
    • Gross Weekly Pay: $5109 (Taxable: $3793; Stipend: $1316)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver hands-on care for neurosurgery and medical neurology patients, encompassing admission evaluations and daily care.
    • Handle intricate ventilator cases, central and arterial lines, and patient transfers/discharges.
    • Supervise students and aid unit nurses in clinical education, knowledge transfer, and skill enhancement.
    • Showcase drive, adaptability, autonomy, and exceptional clinical expertise in critical care settings.
    • Engage in educating learners, such as students and new staff members.

    Qualifications:

    • Acute Care NP certification or NCCPA certification
    • Minimum 3 years of critical care experience
    • Extra credit for Neurosurgical or Neurology background
