Description

Duties:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience in meal preparation and serving.
• Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Understanding of residents' rights and the ability to advocate for them.
• Ability to provide direct support to residents with compassion and empathy.
• Physical ability to lift and assist residents as needed.
• Previous experience in caregiving or home care is preferred.
