Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Event Setup: Assist in the setup of banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings.

Equipment Handling: Transport and set up audiovisual equipment, podiums, and other necessary items for events such as meetings, conferences, and banquets.

Room Arrangement: Arrange furniture and decor in banquet spaces to meet the requirements of each event, ensuring a visually appealing and functional setup.

Assistance During Events: Provide support during events by replenishing supplies, assisting guests with requests, and ensuring the smooth flow of activities.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet areas before, during, and after events, including clearing tables, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing surfaces.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with banquet servers, bartenders, and other staff to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.

Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure the well-being of guests and staff at all times.


Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banquet setup or related hospitality roles is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as tables and chairs, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
