    General Description and Classification Standards:

    Supervision Received:
    The Compliance Specialist and Senior Compliance Specialist report to the Entitlement Assistant Manager, Compliance (LEAD).

    Compliance Specialist General Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Provide staff and service providers with updated grant guidance and regulations
    • Ensure proper record keeping of notices, policy alerts, and guidance
    • Assist with the development and implementation of programmatic and fiscal policies, guides, and manuals
    • Provide technical assistance and training on compliance requirements for staff and service providers
    • Support the development of a programmatic training curriculum for staff and service providers
    Compliance Specialist - Inspector

    • Complete annual HQS, Special inspections, and reinspection for the City's Mod Rehab units
    • Communicate changes to regulations, best practices, notices, etc., promptly to management and all impacted parties
    • Manage the review of Relocation plans and other compliance with the URA process in collaboration with Programs
