The Monitor Technician is responsible for the observation of patient monitoring systems, including cardiac monitoring and pulse oximetry for a select group of patients at StoneCrest The MT is competent in arrhythmia recognition, interpretation and notification.
Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice, and maintains a safe environment. Participates in performance improvement activities as directed. Provides input and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement.What expectations are asked of a Monitor Tech?
What qualifications you will need:
Prior experience as a Monitor Technician or successful completion of Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia Course.
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
