- Completion of a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program. Possess a valid and unrestricted optometry license in the state of Ohio or Pennsylvania or be eligible for licensure.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, fitting and managing contact lenses, and providing pre-and post-operative care. Experience with specialty testing and imaging technologies is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Empathy, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle a diverse patient population, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. A proven ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and pursue continuing education opportunities.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to optometry practice. Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines set forth by the state board of optometry.
