Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Manage and supervise the service department staff, including technicians and service advisors
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service orders
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for service department employees
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of automotive industry trends and advancements
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in payroll, budgeting, inventory control, and administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences in the automotive industry
  • Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
  • Cash handling experience is preferred
  • Multilingual skills are a plus
