Job Summary:
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the service department staff, including technicians and service advisors
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all service orders
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for service department employees
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of automotive industry trends and advancements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in payroll, budgeting, inventory control, and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences in the automotive industry
- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
- Cash handling experience is preferred
- Multilingual skills are a plus
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Long Beach, CA (required)
