Job Description

As an HCP Marketing Automation Data Engineer in the AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team, you'll have opportunities to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, helping to support solutions that impact patients and their communities for the better.

In this role you'll be responsible for:

Working as part of the HCP Marketing Automation Data Ops team.
Monitoring operation of US Commercial Marketing Automation data pipelines, analyzing performance and data quality; and troubleshooting issues.
Developing, testing, and productionalizing data pipelines which ingest, consolidate, cleanse and structure data from various internal and external sources for use in applications, reports and in machine learning models.
Optimizing data pipelines for both performance and cost.
Coordinating and monitoring activities with on and offshore contract resources.
Working directly with stakeholders and service providers to ensure a high level of service.
Supporting the business planning, setup and execution of Email, Direct Mail and Media marketing campaigns.

Tools and skills you will use in this role:

Data Engineering technologies like AWS EMR, Python/PySpark, Snowflake and Informatica
CRM and Email/SMS Campaign Management technologies like Adobe Marketo
Email Authoring technologies Knak
Application and Data Architecture
SDLC processes for Data and Applications including Waterfall, Agile and DevOps

Qualifications

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.
Demonstrable BI/data application architecture, design, and development experience.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau.
Strong SQL experience.
Proven track record in project delivery and/or application support involving business and technical teams.
Solid communication skills.

Beneficial

Marketing experience implementing digital marketing solutions.
Understanding of the pharmaceutical market including role of providers, patients, payers, distributors, and policy makers.
