What to expect at Melrose?

  • You will lead the design, construction, and maintenance of the back-end data infrastructure, including data collection and pipelines for data warehousing
  • You will be responsible for data mining and integration, developing and maintaining data connections through APIs
  • You will manage cloud infrastructure, ETL pipelines, and data preparation
  • You will maintain data warehousing (including data lake) and tracking and analytics
  • You will be responsible for web tracking and analytics, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and continuously optimizing the shop front-end and back-end
  • You will contribute to the development of new data-driven solutions through the results of data products in various systems

What you should bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a data engineer, backend engineer, or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to develop production-ready code and strong SQL skills (e.g. Java, C++, Scala, JavaScript, Python)
  • Expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and data pipelines
  • Experience with common cloud services and their infrastructure and data stack (e.g. AWS or Google Cloud)
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
