Qualifications:


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct coding audits of medical records checking for missing and/or incorrect
documentation.

  • Identify claims errors, vulnerability, and compliance risk to include, but not
limited to, missing/improper coding.

  • Review medical record documentation to ensure clinicians and medical staff are
practicing within their credential/scope.

  • Ability to code for many different specialties as assigned. Provides cross
coverage in the department as needed and directed by the Coding and
Compliance Manger/ Billing Director.

  • Upon identifying any coding, billing, documentation, and/or system issues,
immediately notifies the Coding and Compliance Manager/Billing Director.

  • Maintains working knowledge of CPT, ICD10, HCPCS coding guidelines,
government regulations, and third-party requirements regarding billing and
coding.


Schedule:

1. 8-hour day shift

  • Monday to Friday
