The Max Planck Institutes for Biological Intelligence (MPI-BI) and Biochemistry (MPIB) are internationally renowned research institutions in the fields of life sciences and biomedical research.

The two institutes have a strong partnership, with many collaborations, joint projects, and shared facilities. Several Nobel laureates have worked at these institutes.

As our long-term employee is retiring, we are seeking a
Driver (m/f/d) to join our team in Westerville, OH.

Your responsibilities

  • As a driver, your main task will be providing transportation services for the directors of our two institutes.

In addition, your responsibilities will include:

  • Transport and courier services (as needed)
  • Managing bookings for our selfdriven vehicles
  • Vehicle maintenance with internal support
  • Initiating and organizing vehicle procurement with the assistance of the administration

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A valid Class B driver's license with several years of driving experience
  • A passion for driving
  • Ideally, experience with chauffeur services
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Reliability, independence, and a sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency in using communication tools
  • Good knowledge
