- Lead and manage relationships with foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Assist faculty in securing external funding for research and creative work.
- Independently identify and engage with potential funding sources.
- Write and edit grant proposals, create budgets, and reports.
- Work collaboratively with the Grants Assistant and Director.
- Ensure compliance with agency guidelines and university policies.
- Advise faculty on funding opportunities and proposal development.
- Coordinate internal approval processes and submission of proposals.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online systems.
- Experience in fundraising/grant-writing in academic or non-profit settings.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Experience working in higher education or non-profit sector.
- Graduate degree is a plus.
- Accountability for results.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to change and leadership qualities.
