Maintenance Technician III - Peoria Heights, IL

Starting Wage - $30/hour

Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm

As a Sherman's Maintenance Technician III you'll be joining a small, but skilled team that cares for our 4 facilities throughout Central Illinois.

Our facilities are large, and you'll be kept busy with all the projects you will tackle.


Here's what to expect in your new career:

  • You'll have a consistent full-time Monday-Friday schedule, 6:00am-2:30pm.
  • You'll perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work on commercial properties.
  • You'll use a mobile device to address maintenance requests submitted by all departments.
  • You'll inspect properties and identify any potential issues.
  • You'll help with renovations and special projects.

Here's what we'll expect from you:

  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial property maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with safety and compliance regulations
  • A valid driver's license
