    Position Summary

    At Concentra, our Medical Directors primarily focus on clinical patient care, with the remaining time dedicated to recruitment, business metrics, patient/client satisfaction, and center management. This role allows physicians to combine their passion for patient care with their managerial skills, working for the leader in workplace health.

    As a Clinic Medical Director, you play a crucial role in a team of dedicated clinicians devoted to exceptional patient care. You will also streamline center operations by effectively balancing patient care dynamics and leadership in a clinical setting.     Patient Care/Clinical Outcomes

    • Provide direct patient care in a clinic-based setting, lead by example, and establish exceptional patient care standards.
    • Ensure the daily implementation of the medical model by collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case management.
    • Monitor key clinical center metrics, as provided by Clinical Analytics, to maintain quality standards.
    • Supervise clinicians and support staff while adhering to APC supervisory regulations.
    • Create a professional and collaborative work environment.
    • Collaborate with leaders to identify and execute changes for continuous clinical improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC.

    Patient, Employer, Payer Experience

    • Establish and maintain relationships with center clients and payers.
    • Work with the clinic leadership team to oversee clinical and support staffing levels.
    • Promote, nurture, and embody Orange Book values for all clinic operations.

    Build Teams

    • Cultivate colleague success throughout all stages of the staff clinicians and support staff talent life cycle.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and recognition and rewards.
    • Lead and encourage collaboration within the clinic leadership team and across disciplines to achieve clinical and business objectives.

    Business Acumen

    • Take responsibility for comprehending and contributing to clinic financials and outcomes to meet annual business targets.
    • Promote clinic initiatives and workflows that align with those in other locations.
    • Demonstrate financial awareness and provide input into clinic budgeting and key business decisions.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty is desired.
    • Hold an active and unrestricted medical license.
    • Possess an unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for the state of practice (must be obtained before start date).
    • Eligibility to participate in Medicare is essential.
    • Preferably hold FMCSA NRCME certification or be willing to obtain it.

    This position offers a base compensation rate ranging from $241,000.00/yr to $290,000.00/yr, based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience level, geographic location, and seniority.
