- Set up video equipment for quality testing.
- Facilitate the departure and return of products and gear.
- Load and unload trucks as directed.
- Compile and scan the complete load list for events by picking, packing, and shipping all necessary equipment.
- Properly store and move equipment as needed.
- Maintain a high level of teamwork within the Field Shop in order to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Work with supervisors and other shop technicians to carry out proper shop maintenance.
- Check-in video equipment and move to appropriate locations within the shop.
- Repair basic power and data cables
- Ability to learn more complex functions of gear, applications, and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment and assist in other shop activities as needed.
- Represent the company to clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist in other Field Shop activities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma, Technical Degree preferred; however, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Some experience in a warehouse or shop environment is desirable.
- Must be willing and able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Computer literacy / experience with Microsoft office a plus
- R2 inventory software experience a plus
- Vectorworks experience a plus
- Clean driver license a plus

Description of Responsibilities:
Creative Technology New York is accepting applicants for the position of Video Department Lead Technician. This individual will be based in our New Jersey facility. This person will be an integral and vital part of the Creative Technology Video Team.
At CT we have the resources and mission to be the premier provider of video systems to the corporate staging, live performance and broadcast events industry nationwide. You will be joining a top team of video professionals and managing world-class equipment packages. It is a very demanding position, engaging, exciting, and rewarding.
The purpose of this position is to compile and prep video equipment for customer rentals, perform inventory on video equipment, basic maintenance, manage repairs and returns. This person will help develop internal teams to address: Workflow, QC Test Procedures, System Prep, Parts Department, Service Bench and the general video inventory in our facility.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
