- The primary focus is ocean shipments both import and export.
- Minimum 4-5 years of active sales experience at an NVOCC, Freight Forwarder or Steamship Line
- Highly knowledgeable about the relevant trade lanes, commodity groups
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Goal-oriented and self-disciplined to produce results
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Naturally self-confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive
- Impeccable negotiation skills
- Have an overall positive, can-do attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effective presentation and customer relations skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Well-travelled individuals a plus
