    Part- Time Plant Custodian (3pm-7pm)

    Somersworth, NH

    Description

    We are looking for two part- time custodians for our Somersworth plant to perform cleaning, routine maintenance, and other plant/office duties as assigned. Hours are from 3pm-7pm Monday through Friday with (some) Saturdays.

    The goal is to keep our plant in a clean and in orderly condition.

    Responsibilities

    • Clean and supply designated plant areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, etc)
    • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
    • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects including large blow downs of the equipment.
    • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
    • Make adjustments and minor repairs.
    • Stock and maintain supply rooms.
    • Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
    • Follow all health and safety regulations

    Requirements and skills

    • Proven working experience as a Janitor.
    • Ability to handle cleaning related equipment and machinery.
    • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
    • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets
    • Integrity and ability to work independently.
    • High school degree
