Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a product-minded, revenue-focused technology executive with a proven track record of leading development on reliable products that deliver real value to users, capable of handling the below responsibilities
This is a senior management role, and you will be a true partner on the executive team, a leader to the management team, represent the company to external stakeholders and to the board, and an advocate for technology to the business and vice versa
The role will own setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company, ensuring that the technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs, and outline the goals for research and development
Drive the design and delivery of GreenArc's technology platform – ensuring that the system is best in class among industry peers
Drive architecture and infrastructure decisions and refresh technology strategy on a periodic basis
Establish governance procedures with respect to product direction and control to ensure the company achieves its objectives and manages risk against responsible use of the company's resources in the areas of software design and development, project management, QA, and the entire user experience
Lead planning to drive the product development by prioritizing development initiatives and setting deadlines for evaluating, developing, and deploying the company's products and services against business goals
Keep management updated on technology trends and create business case that drive technology investment decisions and be a technology partner for the business to ensure technology team and product is aligned with the business
Ability to roll up sleeves to get into operational details of product and engineering while not losing the big picture required to communicate with management, investors and other senior stakeholders
A highly cross-functional job, and not for the chief-architect archetype / heads down chief scientist
Invest time and effort into developing people to ensure team members can have a fulfilling career with GreenArc
Define methods for quantifying success and ensure that the entire team understands and delivers on objectives

Management and administrative matters including design and delivery on KPIs for technology team, recruiting, on-boarding and training tech team members, managing the department's budget etc.

Job Requirements

8-10 years of combined experience as a credit analyst/manager in a financial institution or capital markets experience and/or similar experience
Graduate degree, with a business, finance or accounting major preferred.
Strong financial analysis and investment structuring skills
Ability to prepare written memos and reports fluently in English
Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral
High comfort level working in a relatively flat, non-hierarchical environment
Entrepreneurial nature – ability to handle unstructured situations and think innovatively
Able to work independently without much supervision as well as a team player

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field from a reputed university; Relevant masters / PhD is a plus.

5 – 10 years of proven experience as a Product Head / Architect or similar leadership role necessary
At least 3 -5 years direct people management experience necessary; project management with people management experience is not sufficient
6+ years of experience in software development in positions of increasing responsibility, including in agile/start-up environments, with a range of full-stack experience including both front-end and back-end development that involves rapid prototyping
Experience in Banking technology / Fintech companies is mandatory
Experience with Machine learning (ML) algorithms and tools as well as deep experience deploying ML models into production
Good understanding of database concepts (SQL/no-SQL)
Sys Dev / Data engineering experience is a plus
Should have good understanding of the operating system and its concepts, especially on a UNIX based system
Deep experience / certification in Project management and Agile methodologies is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including in updating senior management and external stakeholders, fully eliciting and accurately capturing requirements, and clearly communicating assignments and deadlines to team members
Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on coding and testing activities with project/team leadership
Ability to think critically about performance, scalability, and reliability of software products
Strong sense of personal accountability / ownership / drive to achieve outstanding results, and commitment to delivering systems that accomplish the end business objectives
Software development management expertise including constructing product requirement documents, product road mapping, and overseeing engineers
Highly personable and charismatic, detail oriented and able to interact with multiple clients and partners at any given time; able to construct and maintain strong working relationships and navigate challenging situations to negotiate successful solutions
Experience in hiring, scaling, and leading engineering, product management, and data teams.
